New HSE Abestos Tool

The Health and Safety Executive has issed an interactive guide to help small businesses protect their workers from breathing in asbestos fibres. The web based tool provides a step by step guide to managing the dangers of asbestos as well as check list, key points and memory joggers. Asbestos is a hidden killer and as the number of deaths from this disease are expected to greatly increase over the coming years, so the HSE has made their ‘Hidden Killer’ campaign a priorty. The HSE website provides a comprehensive section on the dangers of workng with asbestos and includes video presentations, management plans and information sheets.
